Flowers Online

According to a survey, Americans would approximately spend well over $2 billion on flowers for Mother’s Day. So it’s good to know that when you order mums for Mom she’ll get the bouquet you selected. Consumer Reports recently ordered blooms from three national florists and what they got this time was not what they always used to get.
The study showed that online florists such as 1800Flowers.com, FTD.com, and ProFlowers.com, sent at least some of their orders from central locations. A selection was made of roses, tulips, orchids, and mixed bouquets, for a total of 24 deliveries and the florists were paid $57 to $87 for the flowers, optional vases, and assorted delivery charges.
But it was shocking to see that some of the actual bouquets did not match to their website photos, while others did and the overall results were mixed. The tulips from 1800 Flowers matched most closely in color, size and number of stems where as a mixed bouquet from FTD.com did not match with the online picture at all, and differed in size and color. But then again, a bouquet of roses and an orchid plant were fairly satisfying. So the conclusion which could be drawn was, it is always better to steer away from mixed bouquets, which have more substitutions than the rest.
On the other hand, if you want to choose candies over flowers as your mother likes candies more, it is always preferable to check out some of the mail-order chocolates that customers find tasty, amazing, artistic looking, sophisticated and ultra smooth. But they are not any cheap, they are quite expensive. But then again, it’s your mother and she deserves it. So the best of those candies might cost up to $105 a box without shipping. And because they are perishable, overnight or one-day shipping is recommended.
A last but not the least option to please mothers is a nice bottle of sparkling wine. Recent online customers purchased anduncorked seven bottles and found six of them to be very good.
